Now that everybody's belly is full of yesterdays turkey it's time to fill those pockets. Today at 3:30PM there is a game in Austin Texas that could help seal the fate of a beloved coach. The game, Texas vs. TCU, the coach, is Charlie Strong. Last week Texas lost to a putrid Kansas team that has no business beating anybody but Rutgers. Prior to that they lot to a tough West Virginia team at home.
TCU is coming off a loss at home to a surging OK State team and a win at Baylor that looked impressive.
So, what's The Play...
We are going with the Texas Longhorns -3 at home. This Texas team is going to come out inspired. They want their coach to stay with the team next year and the only way to that is to win and win BIG today. The rushing attack spearheaded by D'onta Foreman who is playing like a man on fire. The lot to Kansas last week was a predictable let down game. You can't play at 110% all the time and last week they played at 50. Shane Buechele is a star in the making and will look to take advantage of a weak TCU defense.
Although TCU got a win against a #17 ranked Baylor team it is not the same Baylor team that started the season with Seth Russell behind center. The Horned Frogs haven't had a quality win all season and maybe you don't consider Texas a quality team either they will be if not for just this one November day.
Take Texas today and have fun watching a team with a lot on the line. Their coach's job, their sixth win for a bowl bid, and state bragging rights.
