Plays for today Saturday 11/26/16
Maryland -14 @ Rutgers
Rutgers is awful and Maryland has a chance to be bowl eligible.
Ohio vs. Michigan under 44.5
Both teams have awful offenses and stout defenses.
Auburn +18 @ Alabama
Auburn always plays Bama tough and will stay in this game. Alabama doesn't have to worry about points in this one, with a win they are locked in for the #1 ranking and possibly even if they lose.
Navy @ SMU over 68
Navy can score and SMU has the potential to score big at home. Lock this one in.
West Virginia -6.5 @ Iowa State
West Virginia has trouble against good offenses which Iowa State isn't. WVU in a blowout
Florida State -7.5 vs. Florida
Florida State will only have to score 24 to cover in this one. Florida may score 10 against this top FSU run defense.
Hawaii -7.5 vs. UMASS
You're telling me a bad team from the northeast during late November is going to play well after a week in Hawaii. Hawaii wins big.
Fishy Line of the Week
Penn State -11 vs. Michigan State
Don't touch this one. Penn State should roll but with their entire offensive line hurt it's tough to be confident. Stay away

Early Afternoon NBA
Game Info:
Spurs travel to Boston today to try and continue their 7 game win strike against a hot young Celtics team who have won 4 out of their last 5.Spurs have been riding the hot hand of Kawhi Leonard who is averaging 25.1 PPG. But I expect Kawhi to have his hands full today with Jae Crowder not allowing him any uncontested shots or easy buckets. Celtics will continue to play solid team basketball and Isaiah should have very little difficulty scoring against an aging Tony Parker. Celtics Defense has stepped it up a bit since the return of Crowder and Horford which exactly what has been needed. Horford has shown these past few games that he WILL make this team better and I expect things to continue in that direction.
Both teams played Wednesday night and traveled home for thanksgiving. However, Spurs will travel to Boston and play an early game. I See the spurs coming out a bit sluggish in this one and look for the Celtics to have the gas pedal all the way to the floor right out of the gate. I see the Celtics winning this game OUTRIGHT but I would take the points.

Post Turkey Trauma
Now that everybody's belly is full of yesterdays turkey it's time to fill those pockets. Today at 3:30PM there is a game in Austin Texas that could help seal the fate of a beloved coach. The game, Texas vs. TCU, the coach, is Charlie Strong. Last week Texas lost to a putrid Kansas team that has no business beating anybody but Rutgers. Prior to that they lot to a tough West Virginia team at home.
TCU is coming off a loss at home to a surging OK State team and a win at Baylor that looked impressive.
So, what's The Play...
We are going with the Texas Longhorns -3 at home. This Texas team is going to come out inspired. They want their coach to stay with the team next year and the only way to that is to win and win BIG today. The rushing attack spearheaded by D'onta Foreman who is playing like a man on fire. The lot to Kansas last week was a predictable let down game. You can't play at 110% all the time and last week they played at 50. Shane Buechele is a star in the making and will look to take advantage of a weak TCU defense.
Although TCU got a win against a #17 ranked Baylor team it is not the same Baylor team that started the season with Seth Russell behind center. The Horned Frogs haven't had a quality win all season and maybe you don't consider Texas a quality team either they will be if not for just this one November day.
Take Texas today and have fun watching a team with a lot on the line. Their coach's job, their sixth win for a bowl bid, and state bragging rights.

Hit it Early Hit it Hard
One of the first games on an action packed College Football Friday is between two American Athletic Conference foes. The Memphis Tigers will take on the Houston Cougars near Graceland. You can bet your blue suede shoes this is gonna be a good one. Right now Houston is -4 coming off a massive win against Louisville last Thursday. Memphis got a much needed win against a bad Cincinnati team in their previous game.
So what is The Play....
Take Houston giving 4. There is a chance the Cougars comes out sluggish after the win last week but chances are Tom Herman will have them ready to go. But this pick is less about Houston and more about Riley Ferguson. If the Memphis QB can't go it'll be up to Senior back up Jason Stewart who came in for Ferguson in last weeks 34-7 win against the Cincinnati Bearcats. Stewart played well but he did so against a bad Cincy team...well, horrible Cincy team. Houston has a much better offense and a defense that is really clicking behind Freshman Phenom Ed Oliver. This should be a no contest. Take Houston and start your Friday off with a nice win.

The Play's Inaugural Lock
The Play's first ever lock will come by way of some good ol' fashion NCAA football. More specifically the Texas A&M Aggies vs the LSU Tigers. This game will be played at Kyle Field in College Station with one of the NCAA's most feared crowd behind the Aggies. This line started with LSU as a 4 point favorite but now has them at -7.5! So what's The Play?
Put your money on....
Hopefully you were able to get in on this line early as it keeps getting higher. Texas A&M has been in a free fall since their starting QB Trevor Knight went down earlier this month against Mississippi State. They beat a sorry UTSA team last week 23-10 but didn't come close to covering the 27 point spread. Prior to that they lost to a Chad Kelly less Ole Miss team. On the flip side, aside from a couple games against two of the toughest defenses in the country (Florida and Alabama) LSU has actually been scoring. Danny Etling, a quarterback that can actually throw has opened up the offense a bit and allowed for a little more rushing room. Leonard Fournette should be in the backfield and a little healthier after being banged up most of the season. The best asset for the Tigers will be their stellar defense which allows only 14.1 points per game this season.
All signs point to an LSU victory behind Coach O to close out the regular season.
Final Score : 27-17 LSU wins
